What is Aromatherapy Massage?
Aromatherapy massage combines the therapeutic benefits of massage with the use of essential oils extracted from plants. This holistic approach to wellness aims to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being by harnessing the healing properties of aromatic botanicals.
Traditionally during an aromatherapy massage session, a certified therapist carefully selects and blends essential oils based on the individual’s needs and preferences. However we have blended three very popular massage oils, using just a grapeseed base oil and a carefully selected blend of essential oils for you to use at home. Scroll down for details
These oils are then diluted in a carrier oil and applied to the skin through gentle massage strokes, allowing the active compounds to penetrate the body and elicit various therapeutic effects.
The inhalation of these aromatic molecules also stimulates the olfactory system, triggering physiological responses in the brain that can induce relaxation, alleviate stress, and uplift the mood. Different essential oils possess distinct therapeutic properties, such as lavender for relaxation, peppermint for invigoration, and chamomile for soothing inflammation.

Our Aromatherapy Massage Oils
Our Aromatherapy Massage oils are hand blended, we begin with a Grapeseed base oil, this is chosen as it is a neutral oil with no smell of it’s own which is easily absorbed by the skin. We then add essential oils, these are concentrated distilled oils that contain the essence of the plant, hence the name. Each essential oil has it’s own fragrance and properties, these plants have been used in herbal remedies since ancient times.

In addition Ylang Ylang essential oil reduces stress & anxiety and promotes sleep. Orange essential oil boosts your mood and reduces blood pressure whilst Patchouli essential oil is good for the skin. All our oils are fair traded and the massage oil is blended in England.
